Applique Cherry-Blossom Fascinator

I made this fascinator to wear to my cousins wedding. I had the felted shape left over from millinery class that I didn't have time to finish (see top hat page)

This was my first adventure into applique and beading.

 

And gosh, it's therapeutic! like adult colouring but in sewing form. Embroidery is like that too, I think.

I really enjoyed this one, and I think it looks fantastic too.
