Top Hat

Made as part of a Millinery Class for my degree, I made my own top hat! (Needless to say, there was only one song that went round and round in my head all day...)

One of my few adventures into menswear, it was a really interesting class and loads of new techniques to learn about!

It is constructed of Buckram and the brim is wired. The hat is covered in the traditional black silk and it's only detail is a black grosgrain ribbon around the crown.
