1960's - Nora

Made for the RBC Production of 'Nora: A Doll's House'. This costume was designed by a fellow student and it was my job to make it a reality and to get it fitting the actress perfectly.

The show is heavily based on Ibsen's famous play; 'A Doll's House', but this new version, written by Stef Smith features 3 parallel Nora's in different periods split over the past century; in an effort to show how little has changed for women and in turn, how relevant the play is to a modern audience.

This Dress was for the 'Nora' character set in 1967. It is made of cotton drill, with princess seams and a lapped CB zip.
